I have just put the finishing touches on the Chicago GNU/Linux User Group Video Archive. At the archive you can both play videos through your web browser as well as save them to your computer. The videos are licensed under the GFDL and freely distributable under those terms. The first three videos are from earlier in the year. I plan to start video taping every meeting that I make. Hopefully in the near future I will also be able to start streaming the video live from the meetings.
If anyone has any ChiGLUG related videos I would be more than happy to put them up. If anyone has video from Flourish, I would also like to put that up.
If anyone has any comments or suggestions for the video archive, please post a comment. Thanks.

Jordan,
Nice job, the page looks really nice. I look forward to more videos in the future. This will help to give us more publicity. Thanks for all of this.
Do you think we should do something similiar with just audio and the photos from the meetings. If we do this then we could have a general media page that would link to the video page, a gallery page and an audio page similiar to the video page.

Yeah, that is definitely possible. I will try to think of a good way to do that.
You also reminded me, I would like to have links for the slides that go with these videos, so I can add those as well, or website in your case. Do you still have the materials you used?
Thanks!

Jordan,
Great job, this a really neat idea with a simple interface. I’m looking forward to getting even more videos on there.
