Update your code to GPLv3 This Friday June 29th!

After a long thorough process the final version of the GNU GPL License Version 3 is going to be released this Friday at Noon(EDT)!! That means all you people out there who support free software need to get all your code rounded up and ready to update.

In celebration, I suggest making a new release on Friday of your major projects that you work on in order to spread the word about and come into compliance with the GPLv3. The more news and activity we can make in relation the new version of the GPL the better!

I also encourage everyone to get friends of theirs that write free software the same advice. Especially those who use other licenses like MIT, BSD, Apache, etc. that don’t ensure the same amount of Freedom that the GPLv3 does. Now is a better time than ever to switch over to the new GPLv3!

P.S. Does anyone know where I can get a high resolution image of the GPLv3 image? Thanks!
